AP Infotech, a unit of Adan Pradan Trust is associated with Sri Aurobindo Ashram. Sri Aurobindo Ashram is a spiritual institution, established by Sri Aurobindo and The Mother in the early quarter of this century. It is located in Pondicherry, a small coastal town, a hundred and sixty kilometres south of Chennai in India.

Over 1500 individuals from all walks of life have gathered here. The Mother said, "Let us work as we pray, for indeed work is the body's best prayer to the Divine". Over the years the Ashram has started its own farms, workshops, trusts and small industries.

Adan Pradan Trust was established in the year 1992. It is a charitable institute,. not for profit body,and primary  beneficiary of the trust is Sri Aurobindo Ashram. The first Managing Trustee was Shri. R.K.Talwar, who was formerly the Chairman of State Bank of India. It is an export undertaking. The organization is registered with the Government of Pondicherry as a Small Scale Industry for development and export of software.

Adan Pradan Trust is  an ISO 9001-2008 certified body for Design and  Development of web application software and B.P.O for data processing (See certificate here)

It is a charitable trust and donations to Adan Pradan Trust for the period from 01.04.2005 to 31.03.08 is exempt from Income Tax  under Section 80 G (5) (vi) of the Income Tax Act in the hands of donors subject  to the limits prescribed there in. It is expected that further extension from 1.4.2008 for three years will be received soon.

The trust will take up the work of establishing an Academy to give free training to Engineering graduates in Information Technology to make them employable in latest I.T. industries.

The Trust is now managed by three trustees.

1. Mr. Manoj Bhattacharyya is a member  of Sri Aurobindo Ashram since many years and had been the Chief Accountant of Sri Aurobindo Society for 12 years prior to joining the Trust. He is a well known personality among computer professionals in Pondicherry including Pondicherry University. He had been an Office Bearer of the Computer Society of India, Pondicherry Chapter.

2. Shri B.M Oza was a very senior member of the Indian Audit and Accounts Service  and held number of important posts in India and abroad.He was the Principal Accountant General of Gujarat,Government of India  and subsequently Member(Finance) of Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission .He is based at Ahmedabad.

3. Mr. Shanker Ramanathan, formerly Vice President of Mastek, a CMM5 level software company and also CEO of AMITY Info Systems Ltd, D1,Sector 12, Noida. He is a graduate from IIT Mumbai . Immediately after graduation he joined IBM and thereafter worked in various organizations. He has wide experience in the field of Banking ,Communication and ERP solutions. He is at present in the advisory body of Valuevarsity , Pune ,India ,which specialises in corporate training.

Technical Advisors: Mr. Suresh Hindocha has been involved in the top management of a leading hardware manufacturer besides being a prominent industrialist of Pondicherry. He will be camping in London, U.K. and may be contacted at E-mail: suresh_h@talktalk.net

 Mr. P. N. Bhattacharjee (an alumnus of IIM, Ahmedabad-1971)  had been a Consultant to GE Power System Group, India and is currently a member of Strategic Management Group, New Delhi. He has recently shifted to Pondicherry .

Project Director: Ms. Savita Srivastava is our Project Director. She is a science graduate from Sri Aurobindo International Centre of Education Pondicherry, having studied in French medium. She is fluent in English, French, Hindi and Bengali. Prior to joining AP Infotech, Adan Pradan Trust, she had headed the Software Division of Nexus Computers Pvt. Ltd.
